Everybody is waiting for the release of the new 2018 iPhone and they are nearby. They are expected to launch at the usual date around the second week of September, the time Apple usually unveils what it has to offer to the people. But this time, we are not getting two, but three new iPhones.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman and Debby Wu are stating that Apple is marking this as an “S” year, where there is no change in the overall design, but the phones receive a spec bump. It is said that the iPhones arriving next year will be featuring an incremental update in terms of design and internal.

So what can we expect from the Apple event ?

  • Three new iPhones?

The rumors state that Apple is set to launch two high-end iPhone’s like the iPhone X and one mid-range iPhone. The differences being, the high-end iPhone’s wil feature 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch OLED panels whereas the affordable iPhone will feature a 6.1-inch LCD display. Moreover, the better iPhones will have dual rear camera whereas the other one will feature a single rear shooter. They will most probably have the same design. The low end iPhone will have less power under the hood but will support Face-ID. It may not feature force touch though.

  • Build quality

The 6.1-inch iPhone may come in variety of colors such as gray, white, blue, orange and red. The edges around this phone may not have color-matching steel casing. The high-end devices may be named as iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Plus.

  • Navigation

Having rumored to have the same design, the three new iPhones will have the same gestures as introduced in the iPhone X. The larger iPhone might be able to view apps side-by-side in apps like mail and calendar. It  may also support Apple Pencil.

  • What more?

We may get the new expected and updated AirPods, 13-inch MacBooks (MacBook Air?), Apple watch with larger display, new wireless charger and new upgraded iPad Pros with slimmer bezels having Face IDs. Though it is not confirmed that they will launch in September, they can launch at any time of this year.
