With the likes of Marvel and HBO not making an appearance in the 2018 San Diego Comic-Con, Warner Bros. stole the show with its upcoming flicks. This is an exciting year for Warner Bros. as they've changed their approach to what fans have always wanted. This can be seen in the trailers that are to follow;

  1. Aquaman

After his introduction in Justice League, Jason Momoa is getting his standalone superhero film. Aquaman is based on a war ravaged Atlanta, and the threat surface dwellers face from Arthur’s brother. Arthur being the rightful King of the Seven Seas has to make things right and accept his destiny to be the King of Atlanta.

  1. Shazam

Shazam! And with a single magical word, you can become an adult superhero. Billy Batson an orphan is given powers by a wizard that transforms him into an older superhero with magical powers by uttering a single word, Shazam! He with his foster brother must team up and stop Dr. Sivana. With this movie, DC is taking on a lighter, more satirical path.

  1. Fantastic Beasts : The Crimes of Grindelwald

After the huge success of the Harry Potter spinoff Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them we are here with its sequel, and we are not disappointed with it’s trailer. We get a more detailed look into the relationship between the young Albus Dumbledore and Newt Scamander. We get to know that Newt is working for Dumbledore to stop Gellert Grindelwald. Jude Law stars as Albus Dumbledore, Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander and Johnny Depp as Gellert Grindelwald in this upcoming flick.

  1. Godzilla : King of Monsters

The trailer starts off with Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown on a rooftop witnessing some strange event. And then we get a good look at the King of Monsters, Godzilla. And this time, he’s not alone. Mothra, three headed monster Ghidorah and Rodan accompany him. We are introduced with the elements of the movie in this trailer. Hopefully the next trailer will clear some things up.

  1. Glass

We get a look at what M. Night Shyamalan has been cooking for quite a few years now, combining movies Split and Unbreakable. The movie will be featuring James McAvoy as The Beast, Bruce Willis as David Dunn, Samuel L. Jackson as Mr. Glass and Sarah Paulson as a doctor. Both these movies have not been a letdown and fans were both astonished and amazed by the crossover between these two universes.

  1. Nightflyers

Another George R.R. Martin adaptation making its way to the big screen is Nightflyers. It is a science fiction television series based on the novella of the same name. What the trailer shows is a crew on it’s way to discover an alien ship.

  1. Dragon Ball Super : Broly

You might be familiar with Broly from the Dragon Ball Z games and his earlier appearances in the previous Dragon Ball Z seasons. But this time, he’s out for blood, it’s him versus everyone. He is The Legendary Super Saiyan he was born to be in this trailer. Vegeta and Goku team up against this epic villain and Frieza is also here making an appearance.

  1. Titans

DC took a very dark turn with this one with Robin literally uttering the words “F-ck Batman” after killing some thugs. We get a look at the Titans, Raven, Beast Boy, Starfire, and of course, Robin aka Dick Grayson. Batman’s sidekick leads the young superheroes in a fight against evil. Early adaptations have been in the form of animated series Teen Titans (though not so dark!).
